We are currently in our 2025 membership renewal campaign. All new memberships begin January 1, 2025, and expire December 31, 2025. To renew or join, select your membership category and proceed through the checkout process. If unsure about your renewal status, log in and view your account for expiration details.
By registering for HBA membership or participating in association activities, you agree to uphold the HBA Code of Ethics, which prohibits harassment, bullying, discrimination, and related misconduct. Violations may result in removal from meetings, revocation of membership or awards, and reporting to relevant institutions or employers.
In 2021, HBA reduced registration fees for its virtual annual meeting to expand access. Building on that momentum, we now offer significantly discounted membership rates for international scholars, particularly those from low- and middle-income countries. We’ve also introduced a new membership category for postdoctoral and non-tenure-track scholars from the U.S. and Canada, offering affordable options across career stages.
These changes are part of our broader commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we thank all Fellows for helping to subsidize a fairer structure for our global community.
